Hi all. Today my windows messenger makes me really mad. It tells me that there's a new version of windows messenger, and that I should download it before I can go on, but when I say yes, it always gells me there's an error, so I can't even go on MSN!! Can somebody help me?

I haven't had that one happen yet; I've had Windows Messenger since like September of last year, but it hasn't asked me to update it yet. That's weird though that it's not letting you upgrade. I know it tells you to upgrade if you want to use it, but I wonder if it is just a recommendation, and can you try putting "no" and see if it will still let you in? If not, maybe you can uninstall it and find it on Microsoft's website or something and then reload it in. But that is weird how it won't let you use it at all.

And how can you get on without upgrade it then?

By uninstalling the one you have now and reloading it on thru Microsoft's website. If you can't get on at all, you can try going to Microsoft's website, not the MSN one, but the Microsoft one. Or type "Windows Messenger" in Google, and get to it like that. Then you can download that one that Microsoft has. To be honest, I'm not sure how accessible it will be, as I've never had to upgrade, but it should work fine.

Oh gosh I never installed and uninstalled things. Blah!!
